List of Qualifying Promotions
2008 PMA Custom Photo Gift Promotion Competition

Each entry should be a complete promotional campaign. Only promotions published within the time period January 1, 2008 – December 31, 2008 are eligible for the competition. For the purposes of this competition, Custom Photo Gifts refers to, but is not limited to, greeting cards, photo blankets, photo calendars and other similar personalized photo gifts. The campaign could include an integrated approach promoting the entire portfolio of custom photo gifting options or specific targeted focus on one.

  Only five minutes for these entries will be viewed. Entry may be submitted as is or edited to the allotted time. Each of these is a separate entry. For example, if you have two presentations you wish to enter on CD, place each on a CD/DVD of their own. Do not combine unless it is a campaign, then all audio/visual elements of the campaign may be entered on one CD/DVD.

  Please provide photographs of each, as these are too large for shipping.
 
Print
  Submit the actual advertisement (tear sheet) as it appears in the magazine, trade journal, newspaper or other publication. Do not send photocopies and do not mount your entries. Advertisements may be in black and white or color, as well as full or fractional page sizes.
  Please ensure that the publication name and issue date are visible. (Example: New York Times, May 28, 2008)

  Internal newsletters or publications, media coverage, print or audio visual (see guidelines above.)
     
Sales Literature includes material developed for:
  Sales calls
  Direct mail campaigns
  Customer relations programs
  Point-of-purchase/sale
  These include but are not limited to:
  Brochures
  Direct mail pieces
  Service directories
 
Specialty Items
  Calendars, mugs, pens
  Clothing
     
Other
Any advertising specialty item displaying a corporate logo or tag line used to promote the company's image or special promotion, such as mugs, t-shirts, etc. Specialty items will not be returned.
     
Web/Blog/Social Networking Sites
  Entry must consist of web address (URL), printed copy of webpage, and the promotion pages/links. Include relevant hot links on your site and load the relevant web pages onto a CD for judging purposes. Judges will evaluate the home page and 3 randomly selected site pages/links (5 minutes)
     
Overall Campaign
Any of the media types above qualify as part of a campaign.
A campaign will contain between three (3) to seven (7) promotion pieces
  3 pieces minimum to qualify as campaign
    7 pieces maximum for judging

Please note:
  Entries must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (EST) January 30, 2009. No exceptions!
  Entries become the property of PMA and will not be returned.
  PMA reserves the right to reproduce entries for promotional purposes in the association’s publications and website.
  PMA assumes all entries are original and are the property of the entrant, with all rights therein. PMA is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
  Any advertisements or promotions developed solely for the purpose of being entered into the competition, and never actually presented in the marketplace, are ineligible.
